Just a Sliver: Tulum, Mexico

On our second day in Tulum we went to check out a famous Cenote. These swimming caves were so beautiful. The water was the clearest water I’ve ever seen…and so fresh! This was one thing I had heard was a Tulum must-see and it was really worth it. We went to Dos Ojos [Two Eyes] because it’s not as popular for tourists and they’re very large. The most well-known one, Gran Centote, is huge but apparently very busy. We barely scratched the surface of these incredible caves because we didn’t have time for a tour but, what we were able to see was really incredible.

And of course, there was the reason for our trip..the wedding! The ceremony was absolutely the most beautiful ceremony I’ve ever been too. So personal and perfect for these two. And my cousin looked so beautiful!! After the ceremony we took our tequila shot place cards [best idea ever] to our tables, ate an incredibly delicious Mexican feast, then danced and limbo’d the night away. Safe to say, it was a successful wedding.

So thanks to the Bride and Groom for kicking off their married life in Tulum so we were able to visit this beautiful place!
